My passion for horses began at a young age, and I have owned horses throughout my life. I have competed both BE and BS on various types of ponies and horses, all of which I have produced myself. At the age of 21, I joined the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment in Central London. As a young boy leaving a small town in Wales to live in central London and work with the Queen’s horses, this was a significant move.

I spent seven years riding, competing, producing both horses and riders. I also spent a season in Melton Mowbray hunting in some of the finest countryside in the region. Additionally, I spent a season on the world-renowned Household Cavalry musical ride, which toured the country and performed displays for the public. I then returned for another six months on the long courses in Melton Mowbray, where I obtained my BHSAI. I was subsequently posted to Northern Ireland, where I ran a saddle club for three years before returning to the riding staff in Knightsbridge, London. During this time, I produced horses and riders for all state occasions, including the Queen’s birthday parade and the state opening of parliament.

Since leaving the Army, I have primarily worked in finance and property development. However, my passion for horses persisted, and I was eager to return to the saddle.
Throughout my life, I have been passionate about working with horses. Recently, I achieved my saddle fitting qualification through the International Academy of Saddle Fitters, successfully passing all my examinations with Distinction. In 2025, I have expanded my business and now also operate a website that sells both new and second-hand saddles and accessories. Furthermore, I provide saddle security services, including microchipping and embossing.

I recently visited BURGHLEY and was particularly impressed by the adjustability of their WOW saddles. I have completed the WOW Training and am delighted to be able to offer WOW Saddles to both new and existing customers.
